PEPS stands for Parents of Elphinstone Primary School, a group of volunteer parents whose main function is to raise money for the school through fundraising efforts. Our meetings are held monthly, usually over a cup of tea in the staff room where we discuss and diarise fundraisers for the term.
We conduct Easter and Christmas raffles in which goods are donated to make up hampers and we also organise special lunch days for students and parents, sometimes using the produce grown in our vegetable garden and also selling excess produce from the garden to the school community. Some of our fundraisers are dependent upon other ad hoc donations throughout the year and we will organise an event or raffle to raise funds wherever we can.
